Living in a broken world we all deal with life’s hurts, hang-ups, and habits. No one has the ability, nor should they attempt to face their hurts on their own. Celebrate Recovery is a beautiful community of strugglers that courageously enter this safe and beautiful space to get honest about our pain, and the negative ways we may see ourselves, God and others. In this process we come to accept that some of the habits we may have developed to escape our pain has caused destruction in our life and those close to us.

Every person is made in the image of God. No life is beyond His reach. Celebrate Recovery is a biblically balanced approach to help bring sustainable recovery and healing to our hurts. It guides us toward new healthy truths and life-giving habits as we repair our broken relationships. Join more than 7 million hurting people across the globe who now walk in freedom through the power of Jesus Christ as we walk through the 8 principles of celebrate recovery based on the Beatitudes in Matthew 5.

Some of the issues people find freedom from in Celebrate Recovery include:

Anger – Codependency – Eating Disorder – Food Issues – Love & Relationship Addiction – Physical, Sexual, and/or Emotional Abuse – Drug Addiction – Alcoholism – Sexual Addiction – Gambling Addiction – Childhood Dysfunction – Grief – Mental Health
The Mental Health Ministry’s mission is to equip local Celebrate Recovery’s to empower individuals to achieve serenity with their mental health. Its purpose is to raise awareness of mental health and create a safe place to continue conversations and to support mental health through the implementation of Mental Health Champions at each CR location. To encourage Christ-centered sponsorship, provide tools such as mental health forums, the Mental Health Agreement form and the CR Suicide Protocol. These tools help equip our leaders and sponsors to effectively walk alongside our participants struggling with mental health.

Cultural Communities is a ministry of Celebrate Recovery dedicated to ensuring that communities of color and their families have a safe space to find healing and recovery. In every community, families wear badges of honor and pride because of their deep heritage. Unfortunately, there are those in these same families who also wear bandages to cover a multitude of hurts, hang-ups, and habits. Pain, addiction, disappointment, and hopelessness do not discriminate. Neither does the journey that leads toward Christ’s healing power. Life change, fresh vision, renewed strength, restored hope, and relationships are experienced as individuals take intentional steps toward accepting God’s grace and forgiveness. This mission is to cultivate a space where all people experience recovery and reconciliation regardless of ethnicity or race. We facilitate Celebrate Recovery step studies for people of color led by people of color. [Black, Latino, Indigenous, AAPI (Asian American and Pacific Islander) communities] In addition, participants connect through our annual Summit, monthly Connections experiences, and our Come and See events. The goal is to one day eliminate the need for Cultural Communities inside of Celebrate Recovery by bringing everyone along into maturity and unity in our faith.

Celebration Place is the approved children’s curriculum for Celebrate Recovery ministries for children ages 5-13 years of age. his Christ-centered curriculum mirrors the lessons taught in Large Group for adults. We refer 66to it as our “Pre-Covery” program. We strive to partner with parents to help break the cycle of dysfunction destroying so many of our families. Through Celebration Place, children experience the love of Jesus as they learn how to love themselves and others while they grow in their own relationship with God. They also learn healthy coping skills for life’s tough issues.

The Landing is Celebrate Recovery’s student ministry geared towards Junior High and High School age students. This curriculum is designed to mirror the same material as the adult Celebrate Recovery curriculum, only packaged for students. The Landing exists to provide a safe place for our students to process life and the struggles that accompany it, provide tools to help them live emotionally and spiritually healthy lives, and point them towards the freedom found in Jesus Christ.

Celebrate Recovery® Inside is the prison and jail extension of the Celebrate Recovery® ministry, a program founded by John and Cheryl Baker of Saddleback Church in Lake Forest, California, that encourages fellowship and celebrates Christ’s healing power in the lives of people as they work their way along the road to recovery. Lives are changed as experiences, strengths, and hopes are shared with one another. In addition, individuals become willing to accept God’s grace and forgiveness in solving life’s problems.
Celebrate Pastors In Recovery‘s mission is to help pastors and pastor’s wives find a safe haven for experiencing the healing power of Jesus Christ for the hurts, habits, and hang-ups of the past, present, and future.  CPR provides a safe place for church leaders to find healing. CPR Step Study groups are exclusively for pastors (male or female) and pastor’s wives. A CPR group provides a much-needed safe environment for church leaders to authentically work through their hurts, hang-ups, and habits and find healing in community with one another. As ministers, we are all “wounded healers,” as Henri Nouwen would say. But, our effectiveness as “healers” is greatly affected by the extent to which we have been healed ourselves. Without experiencing Christ’s healing, we’re just wounded. CPR Step Studies are a wonderful tool that God uses to bring healing to pastors and pastor’s wives.

Life after the Military does not always make sense. The loss of a sense of brotherhood and the loss of being part of something important and bigger than myself can lead to feelings of frustration, isolation, emptiness, boredom, anger, or loneliness. In an attempt to cope with the pain of these overwhelming emotions, sometimes veterans turn to unhealthy relationships, at-risk behaviors, or substance abuse. Welcome Home is Celebrate Recovery’s tool to help veterans stuck in hurts, hang-ups, and habits. Welcome Home is an Open Share Group for veterans led by veterans. Participants can recapture some of that sense of brotherhood and sense of mission, because every week they gather to discuss what is happening in their lives and to reach out to other veterans struggling with different hurts, hang-ups and habits. Whether you served during peace time or war, if you experienced combat or never heard a shot fired in anger, all veterans are welcome at Welcome Home!
