AllYouNeedToKnowAboutChurchBeliefs.org
We believe the Bible, comprised of the Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God (Matthew 5:18; 2 Timothy 3:16-17). We believe the Bible to be inerrant in the original writings, God-breathed, and the complete and final authority for faith and practice (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
AllYouNeedToKnowAboutChurchDoctrine.org
Church doctrine refers to the official, foundational teachings and beliefs of a religious group, derived from sacred texts, creeds, and authoritative interpretations, guiding faith, morality, and practice, essentially defining what a religion believes about God, humanity, and salvation, acting as a core set of principles for its followers.

AllYouNeedToKnowAboutEternity.org
Eschatology is the study of what the Bible says is going to happen in the end times. Many treat Eschatology as an area of theology to be avoided. Of course, Eschatology is not as crucial as Christology (the study of the Person and work of Jesus Christ) or Soteriology (the study of salvation through Jesus Christ). That does not mean, though, that it is unimportant to a Biblical worldview. How we understand Eschatology has an impact on how we should live our lives and what we are to expect to occur in God’s plan.
AllYouNeedToKnowAboutGod.org
The Trinity is the central Christian doctrine that one God eternally exists as three distinct, co-equal, co-eternal persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit, sharing one divine essence but remaining three distinct Persons (Father begets, Son is begotten, Spirit proceeds). It’s foundational to Christian theology, explaining God’s nature (creator, redeemer, inspirer) and activity in creation, salvation, and daily life, though often described as a mystery beyond full human comprehension, expressed through worship and creeds.
AllYouNeedToKnowAboutHeaven.org
All of us are eternal beings because we were made in God’s image. After physical death, our spirits will live forever. Where we reside—heaven or hell—will depend on whether we have accepted or rejected Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior.
AllYouNeedToKnowAboutHell.org
The Bible speaks of the reality of hell in the same terms as the reality of heaven. The concept of a real, conscious, forever-and-ever existence in hell is just as biblical as a real, conscious, forever-and-ever existence in heaven. To deny one while accepting the other is simply illogical from a biblical standpoint.
AllYouNeedToKnowAboutSalvation.org
In the Christian doctrine of salvation, we are saved from “wrath,” that is, from God’s judgment of sin. Our sin has separated us from God, and the consequence of sin is death. Biblical salvation refers to our deliverance from the consequence of sin and therefore involves the removal of sin. We are saved from both the power and penalty of sin.
AllYouNeedToKnowAboutSpiritualGifts.org
The spiritual gifts are given by grace and are not based on our worthiness or personal abilities; they are given according to God’s sovereign choice. The gifts are given by the Spirit of God; thus, the gifts are a part of the new life granted to us in Christ and may be drastically different from our perceived capabilities or desires prior to salvation.
AllYouNeedToKnowAboutTheChristianLife.org
A dictionary definition of a Christian would be something similar to “a person professing belief in Jesus as the Christ or in the religion based on the teachings of Jesus.” While this is a good starting point, like many dictionary definitions, it falls somewhat short of really communicating the biblical truth of what it means to be a Christian.
AllYouNeedToKnowAboutTheFruitOfFaithfulness.org
Faithfulness is steadfastness, constancy, or allegiance; it is carefulness in keeping what we are entrusted with; it is the conviction that the Scriptures accurately reflect reality. Biblical faithfulness requires belief in what the Bible says about God—His existence, His works, and His character. Faithfulness is a fruit of the Spirit; it is the result of the Spirit working in us. But the Spirit is also our seal of faithfulness. He is our witness to God’s promise that if we accept the truth about God, He will save us.
AllYouNeedToKnowAboutTheFruitOfGentleness.org
Galatians 5:22-23 says that the Holy Spirit works in us to be more like Christ (Ephesians 4:14-16), and part of the fruit, or results, of that work is gentleness. Gentleness, also translated “meekness,” does not mean weakness. Rather, it involves humility and thankfulness toward God, and polite, restrained behavior toward others. The opposites of gentleness are anger, a desire for revenge, and self-aggrandizement.
AllYouNeedToKnowAboutTheFruitOfGoodness.org
Goodness is virtue and holiness in action. It results in a life characterized by deeds motivated by righteousness and a desire to be a blessing. It’s a moral characteristic of a Spirit-filled person. The Greek word translated “goodness,” agathosune, is defined as “uprightness of heart and life.” Agathosune is goodness for the benefit of others, not goodness simply for the sake of being virtuous.
AllYouNeedToKnowAboutTheFruitOfJoy.org
The Greek word for joy is chara. Joy is the natural reaction to the work of God, whether promised or fulfilled. Joy expresses God’s kingdom—His influence on earth (Romans 14:17).
AllYouNeedToKnowAboutTheFruitOfKindness.org
Kindness is the characteristic that led God to provide salvation for us (Titus 3:4-5; Romans 2:4; 11:22). Kindness leads God to give us green pastures, quiet waters, and the restoration of our souls when we’re weary (Psalm 23:2-3). It is God’s tender care that makes Him want to gather us under His wings, to protect us and keep us close to Him (Psalm 17:8; 36:7; 61:4; Matthew 23:37).
AllYouNeedToKnowAboutTheFruitOfLove.org
Galatians 5:22-23 is one of the most beloved passages in the Bible. The “fruit of the Spirit” has also been misinterpreted as characteristics that believers should somehow manufacture in their lives. But the key to understanding these qualities is in the name. “Fruit” is the natural result of growth. And “of the Spirit” explains exactly Who causes that growth—it’s not our striving or straining, but the power of the Holy Spirit. No amount of human toil or gritty determination can produce spiritual fruit, but the Spirit’s influence in a yielded heart can work miracles. The fruit of “love” may be the best example. We cannot produce the type of love God desires without the leading and strength of the Holy Spirit.
AllYouNeedToKnowAboutTheFruitOfPatience.org
There are two Greek words translated as “patience” in the New Testament. Hupomonē means “a remaining under,” as when one bears up under a burden. It refers to steadfastness in difficult circumstances. Makrothumia, which is used in Galatians 5:22, is a compound formed by makros (“long”) and thumos (“passion” or “temper”). “Patience” in Galatians 5:22 literally means “long temper,” in the sense of “the ability to hold one’s temper for a long time.” The KJV translates it “longsuffering.” A patient person is able to endure much pain and suffering without complaining. A patient person is slow to anger as he waits for God to provide comfort and punish wrongdoing. Since it is a fruit of the Spirit, we can only possess makrothumia through the power and work of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
AllYouNeedToKnowAboutTheFruitOfPeace.org
In Romans 12:18, Paul exhorts, “If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men.” What a perfect example of our role in the fruit of the Spirit mentioned in Galatians 5:22-23. We are to submit our wills to God’s leading and our actions to God’s Word, but the actual results are up to Him. Only God can create peace through the work of the Holy Spirit. Especially the peace mentioned in Galatians 5—the peace of a harmonious relationship with God.
AllYouNeedToKnowAboutTheFruitOfSelf-Control.org
Self-control (“temperance” in the KJV) is, of course, the ability to control oneself. It involves moderation, constraint, and the ability to say “no” to our baser desires and fleshly lusts.
AllYouNeedToKnowAboutTheGloryOfGod.org
The “Glory of God” refers to the magnificent, awe-inspiring radiance of His divine attributes—His holiness, power, love, wisdom, and perfection—manifested outwardly in creation, history, and especially in Jesus Christ, representing the ultimate worth and splendor of His being that humanity is called to reflect and experience. It signifies the public display of God’s inherent greatness and value, drawing people to worship and find their deepest satisfaction in Him, rather than in temporary things.
AllYouNeedToKnowAboutTheLoveOfGod.org
The question of whether God loves us – personally and individually – is common. Surrounded by the conditional love of finite humanity, we cannot easily comprehend that God would love us. We know our faults. We know that God is perfect and sinless. We know that we are not. Why would God, who is infinite and holy, love us, who are finite and sinful? And yet the great truth of the gospel is that He does!!!
AllYouNeedToKnowAboutTheMercyAndGraceOfGod.org
Mercy and grace are closely related. While the terms have similar meanings, grace and mercy are not exactly the same. Mercy has to do with kindness and compassion; it is often spoken of in the context of God’s not punishing us as our sins deserve. Grace includes kindness and compassion, but also carries the idea of bestowing a gift or favor. It may help to view mercy as a subset of grace. In Scripture, mercy is often equated with a deliverance from judgment (e.g., Deuteronomy 4:30–31; 1 Timothy 1:13), and grace is always the extending of a blessing to the unworthy.
AllYouNeedToKnowAboutTheWordOfGod.org
The New Testament church fully accepted the authority of the books which came from the pens of the writers of Scripture. Paul explained this authority, saying, “All scripture is God‑breathed and is profitable for doctrine, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be thoroughly furnished unto every good work.” (2 Timothy 3:16‑17)

Did you know that in most rural villages around the world, believers share a Bible with 200-500 other people? Seems extreme – right?!? What we’ve found was that many believers of Jesus Christ have never owned or even seen a Bible. And when asked, many people told them they had been fasting and praying for Bibles for years – some even for decades. Pastors also explained how they would walk a day or more to copy as much of the Bible as they could to bring back to their fellowships for a Sunday sermon – some pastors make this journey weekly!

IWantToMeditateOnTheWord.org
Meditation on the word of God is a reflective practice of focusing deeply on scripture to hear from God, rather than emptying the mind. It involves “mentally chewing” on a passage, asking questions about its meaning and relevance, and seeking to apply its truths to one’s life to transform one’s thinking. This practice is different from simple reading, as it is an active, prayerful process that combines reading, reflection, and conversation with God.
