Getting Started As A New Believer
---
For the new Believer in Christ there is a path laid out by Jesus Himself that leads to the spiritual maturity that is necessary to please God. Daily Spiritual Habits Should Include: 1. Read the Bible: Start small. Try reading the Gospel of Mark or John in the New Testament to learn about Jesus. 2. Pray: Talk to God honestly every day. Share your thanks, your worries, and ask for His guidance. 3. Reflect: Think deeply on short passages rather than rushing through chapters. Community and Growth Should Include: 1. Find a Church: Join a local Bible-teaching church where you can worship, learn, and meet other Christians. 2. Join a Small Group: Find a small group or Sunday school class for friendship and accountability. 3. Be Patient: Building strong faith takes time. Do not be discouraged by mistakes or tough days.
