Peace with God and the peace of God in a man’s heart and the joy of fellowship with Christ have in themselves a beneficial effect upon the body and mind, and will lead to the development and preservation of physical and mental power. Thus, Christ promotes the best interest of the body and mind as well as of the spirit—in addition to inward peace, the development of spiritual life, the joy and fellowship with Christ, and the new strength that come with being born again. There are certain special privileges that only the true Christian can enjoy. There is, for example, the privilege of having divine wisdom and guidance continually. This devotional plan will help you achieve The Peace Of God in your spirit, heart and mind.

As we live in the hope of Your return, give us the wisdom and love to reach those around us. Let Your light so shine through us that all who may have lost their way might follow the path that leads back to You and The Joy Of Thy Salvation. It is by Your love, mercy, grace, and forgiveness we have been redeemed to walk in sweet fellowship with You for all eternity as we love and serve one another as You have loved and served us.

The Scriptures indicate that we are living in man’s day. But there is coming a day that will be called the Day of the Lord. In the midst of hopelessness, there is hope! And that hope is centered in the God-man, the Lord Jesus Christ. Now the will of man runs riot in the earth. Then the will of the Lord will alone be done. Until that time, we are under orders from the King of kings to proclaim His message. When we engage in evangelism, we are obeying His great command to “go and proclaim.” In doing so, we are hastening the day of His return. Billy Graham

So they rose early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, “Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the LORD your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.” (2 Chronicles 20:20)

God With Us… “Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name, Immanuel,” which is translated, “God with us.” Matthew 1:23 The allegorical poem “Footprints in the Sand” is well known. The narrator describes a dream of walking along a beach with Jesus, reflecting on scenes from his life. During particularly troubling memories their two sets of footprints were reduced to one. The narrator wondered why Jesus abandoned him during life’s difficult moments. But Jesus explained that during those troubling times the single set of footprints reveals that He was carrying the narrator through those hard times. This fictional poem represents a biblical truth: God is always with us, even during the hard times when we might doubt His presence. When an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream, he said that Mary would give birth to a Son who would fulfill the prophecy of Isaiah 7:14 and would be called Immanuel—Hebrew for “God with us.” When we are walking through life’s challenging moments, we can rely on the promise that Jesus—Immanuel—is with us. Though we can’t see Jesus physically, we believe He is there as we walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). David Jeremiah
