| It is important that we nourish our entire being – the most important of which is our spirit – because it is our spirit that connects us to God! The concepts of body, soul, and spirit describe the different aspects of a human being, often viewed as a tripartite (three-part) nature, especially in religious traditions like Christianity, where the body is the physical vessel, the soul encompasses our mind, will, and emotions, and the spirit is the innermost part connecting us to God. The body interacts with the material world, the soul processes thoughts and feelings, and the spirit provides spiritual awareness, with God’s presence influencing the spirit to guide the soul and body. |
